Bibiana has nearly 25 years of experience in trademark prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management. She has served as in-house counsel at PepsiCo and practiced at leading IP firms in Bogotá, Mexico City, and New York. She is a licensed attorney in Colombia and Mexico, with an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from Franklin Pierce Law Center (UNH).
Bibiana has advised global clients on clearance, filing strategies, brand enforcement, and licensing across Latin America, the U.S., and China. Her work spans industries such as personal care, entertainment, food & beverages, pharmaceuticals, and automotive.
She has managed high-profile portfolios for clients including Playboy, Unilever, and Rivian, and has held longstanding roles on INTA committees. She is also a Board Member of AIPF and frequent speaker on trademark issues.

Silvia Palomino
Associate
Silvia is a Mexican attorney with two decades of experience in trademark prosecution, enforcement, and copyright law. She advises clients ranging from emerging businesses to multinational corporations on matters including oppositions, cancellations, invalidations, anti-counterfeiting, and copyright infringement.
She holds a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and a Master’s in Intellectual Property, Copyright, and New Technologies from Universidad Panamericana. Her background includes practice at top IP firms in Mexico City, with additional engagement in nonprofit environmental initiatives such as EarthCorps’ King Conservation Corps in Seattle.
Silvia is an active member of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Industrial Property (AMPPI), where she contributes to the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, as well as the International Trademark Association (INTA).

Annabelle Angarita

Annabelle is a dynamic and results-driven Colombian attorney with over 20 years of experience in top-tier Colombian law firms (Posse Herrera Ruiz, Triana Uribe & Michelsen and Baker & McKenzie) and has worked in the Intellectual Property Department of Total S.A. (Oil & Gas) in France. She holds a master’s degree in Intellectual Property from Université Paris Panthéon-Assas and a master’s in business law from the same University. She possesses extensive expertise in trademarks, copyrights, patents, sanitary registrations, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, unfair competition, consumer protection, data privacy, infringement, anti-counterfeiting and entertainment law.
She has managed complex IP portfolios of different companies in several countries, offering expert legal guidance regarding filing, prosecution, enforcement and protection of IP assets in Colombia and abroad. Relevant cases include designing and implementing the strategy to obtain the registration of the 3D trademark consisting of the Converse All Star Chuck Taylor sneaker in Colombia, as well as the notoriety of several trademarks such as Converse, Credibanco, Gourmet (Team Foods), La Casita Roja (Davivienda) and El Tigre (Suramericana).
Annabelle is recognized for her consultancy trademark services for domestic and foreign companies and has been ranked as Intellectual Property Rising star by The Legal 500 and Associate to watch by Chambers & Partners (Global and Latin America Guides). Her native language is Spanish, she is fluent in English and French. She enjoys playing and watching tennis, reading, going to the theater and the movies, traveling and tasting different foods.

Juanita is an international legal consultant with over 15 years of experience in data protection, regulatory compliance, and privacy program implementation across Latin America and Europe. She has advised a wide range of clients in Colombia, including Liberty Mutual, Seguros Bolívar, Colmédica, and Independence Drilling S.A., and has supported multinational operations with cross-border compliance strategies.
She holds a law degree from Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia), a Master’s in Personal Data Protection and Transparency from Universidad San Pablo CEU (Spain), and a D.E.A. in Public Law from Université René Descartes (France).
Her international work includes leading roles in high-impact initiatives such as the European Commission’s “International Digital Cooperation – Enhanced Data Protection and Data Flows” project for Latin America, and a regulatory harmonization consultancy for Ameripol, aligning Latin American data laws with global standards from Europol and Interpol.
